Catalog BR00028223
Description NHS-PEG4-Biotin is a long PEGylated, water-soluble NHS ester biotinylation reagent used to label amine-containing macromolecules and maximize the solubility of antibodies and other proteins.
Application This kit is mainly used to label primary antibodies, secondary antibodies, soluble MHC/peptide complexes (monomers), recombinant proteins. In biology, biotin-labeled molecules are used for: FC, ELISA Detection, ELISA, WB, IHC-P, ICFC.
Storage Store the kit unopened at 2-8℃ for 1 year, and the dissolved biotin can be stored at 2-8℃ for 1 week.
Component A: NHS-PEG4-Biotin, 8 x 2 mg; reaction buffer, 30 mL; Protein concentrator, 8.
B: NHS-PEG4-Biotin, 8 x 2 mg.
Feature Reacts with primary amines.
Hydrophilic PEG spacer (29) to reduce steric hindrance when binding to avidin molecules.
Biotinylate antibodies or other proteins for detection or purification using streptavidin probes or resins.
PEGylation enhances the water solubility of biotinylated molecules and helps prevent aggregation of biotinylated antibodies stored in solution.
Permanent amide bond; spacer cannot be cleaved.
