Proteins are typical biomolecules that participate in important physiological processes of organisms. Protein constitutes a variety of important hormones and digestive enzymes, assists genetics, constitutes digestive enzymes, maintains osmotic pressure and regulates human immune function. Protein immobilization technology has attracted extensive attention in recent years and has also made great progress. The composition of protein is complex, and its spatial structure is diverse and flexible, which leads to great challenges in the process of protein immobilization. Currently, proteins can be immobilized through biotin-avidin interactions after modification of the biotinylated group. Alfa Chemistry has a professional research team that has long been committed to the study of protein immobilization, and can provide efficient biotinylation strategies for efficient protein immobilization of phospholipid biotinylation.
Alfa Chemistry focuses on providing customers with high-quality biotinylation services for efficient protein immobilization. We have a professional biological team, insist on optimizing the service system and improving service quality. The related services we can provide include but are not limited to:
Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) surfaces can be functionalized by adding biotin groups. Biotinylated phospholipids are added to the PDMS prepolymer prior to curing. Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) is a typical material widely used in industrial processing. The long hydrophobic tail of the PDMS matrix and the hydrophilic linker used to connect the biotinylation group allow researchers to combine the biotinylation group with PDMS to achieve efficient protein immobilization. A long hydrophobic tail for attaching the reagent to the PDMS matrix and a hydrophilic linker for attaching the biotin group are available in buffered solutions for efficient avidin conjugation.

(2) Lipid bilayer formation on the surface of hydrophilic (plasma oxidation) PDMS
(3) Activation of the PDMS surface (plasma, UV light or chemical vapor deposition) and subsequent chemical reaction (polymer grafting or silanization) for covalent attachment
Alfa Chemistry specializes in providing efficient biotinylation services, provides professional phospholipid biotinylation services for protein immobilization to meet customer needs. If you are interested in our services, please contact us immediately.
